Supporter Fund
Supporters invest in the mission of Brucemore to inspire the community through history, preservation, and the arts. Your gift will:
- Grow the local and regional arts scene through events with individual artists and arts organizations.
- Boost tourism through tours and programs that honor our local stories and raise new voices in Iowa.

Preservation Fund
The 1886 mansion, six historic outbuildings, and 26-acre landscape of the Brucemore estate are the living chapters of Eastern Iowa’s rich history, narrated over more than a century. Your contribution:
- Safeguards historic buildings by keeping water and pests out, preserving our shared community’s treasures.
- Revitalizes the historic landscape by planting native species and employing storm-resistant techniques.
- Enhances cultural programs by creating a reliable infrastructure for a vibrant and safe visitor experience.
With your help, we are preserving not just buildings but the very essence of Eastern Iowa’s past.

Volunteers are important in sharing Brucemore’s story and creating connections between the place and our guests.
Join an inspired group of enthusiastic volunteers who help at events to make every visit to Brucemore special and who participate in activities to care for the garden and landscape.

Pride and Preservation
Donations to Brucemore’s first capital campaign helped accelerate preservation projects across the estate. Over 700 individuals, businesses, foundations, and government entities gave to the campaign and invested in the organization’s future.
Sponsorship
Our history reflects the economic growth of the city, and since 1981, the leading businesses in the region have helped keep Brucemore a vital and active setting for the enrichment of our community. Corporate sponsors help create dynamic and unique opportunities for visitors and regional residents while also increasing appreciation across the community for arts and history.
Fourth Family Fund
Brucemore completed a milestone goal to raise $100,000 for the Fourth Family Fund at the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation in December 2018. Through an Endowment Challenge Grant, the Community Foundation matched $75,000 in donations from 130 individual donors with an additional $25,000. This endowment fund will provide annual distributions to Brucemore in perpetuity to support preservation and program initiatives.
