Two volunteers for Brucemore received the Governor’s Volunteer Award during a special recognition ceremony held September 26 in Cedar Rapids. Jeff Knowling and Betty Debban (pictured with staff) were honored for extraordinary volunteer service to Brucemore.
“Volunteers play such a critical role for Brucemore. They help us share the site with over 45,000 people annually by giving tours of the mansion and facilitating event experiences on the grounds.” said Director of Community Engagement, Tara Richards.
Coordinated by Volunteer Iowa, the Governor’s Volunteer Award program provides an easy way for Iowa nonprofits, charitable organizations, and government entities to honor their volunteers with a prestigious, state-level award.
