Artisan Studio Showcase is a series of performances featuring participants of our Artisan Studio program. These performances are the culmination of a year of artist development work. Join us to see the local talents that have been honing their craft here in the heart of Cedar Rapids.
Marcy Each
The first 2024 Artisan Studio Showcase kicks off with singer-songwriter Marcy Each telling stories through her original songs. Her first album was recorded in Nashville and her most recent album is being recorded right here on the Brucemore estate with co-producers Jim Coates and Brucemore Artisan-in-Residence Gerard Estella. Bring your own chair (or blanket), picnic, and beverage to enjoy music under the stars on the Artisan Studio Lawn.

Brigid Martin
Brigid Martin is using her Artisan Studio project to write a new musical. The musical will explore themes of artistry, relationships, and sacrifice while questioning definitions of success and how those definitions can affect our view of art and life as a whole. Join us for this Artisan Studio Showcase event to see the premiere of Brigid’s script in a staged concert reading.

Jeremy Glazier
Jeremy Glazier is a photographer and documentarian. His project will focus on creating a docuseries featuring interviews with Iowa Vietnam War veterans. The project will be shared in a gallery showing in the Carriage House this November. Stay tuned for more information!
