The Victorians were pretty creepy—with their black crepe and continual mourning and rippers and slashers and all. Join us for a evening of Victorian horror tales and morbid fright music with Lucy Conroy’s Cello of the Damned. We’ll dip into a couple of Poe stories with Aron Pozdol, Braden Rood, and Matthew James, as well as some ripping tales from the London fog.

Admission: $15 for adults; $10 for students

Space for this event is limited. Advance ticket purchase is recommended. 

What to expect from this event:

• You are welcome to bring your own light snacks and beverages (beer and wine allowed) to enjoy in the performance venue. Concessions will not be available for sale at this event.
• The only gate that will open to vehicles for on-site parking is at 2160 Linden Drive SE. The gate will be open by 7:00 PM.
• Pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals.
• Space to wait indoors before doors open is not available. If you arrive onsite before 7:00 PM, we encourage you to enjoy exploring the landscape before the event.
• Indoor seating will be provided.

What to do when you arrive:

• Follow signage to open parking spaces near the Carriage House or on the grounds of Brucemore. Accessible parking will be available.
•  Follow signs to enter the Carriage House on the north side.
• Check in with staff at the event entrance by providing the name on your order.

This year Brucemore is doing exciting preservation work to maintain several historic buildings. Due to this work, a portion of the Carriage House parking lot will be unavailable. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding during this time!
