Originally written and produced for Starlighters II Theatre, Bury Me is a is a modern re-telling of Antigone performed in American Sign Language. The story explores the relationship of estranged sisters Andi and Izzy as they grapple with loss and each other after their brother’s suicide. This production stars four ASL-fluent actors (Jeff Dahle, Gretchen Brown-Waech, Brenda Falgier, and Jasmin Headley) with four English speaking translators. The performance will be followed by a talk-back with the actors, director and professional ASL interpreter Jennifer Smith, and playwright Grant Freeman.
