Discover over a century of Cedar Rapids history with a self-guided tour of the Brucemore mansion. Explore the first, second, and third floors of the mansion at your own pace while taking in the architecture, artifacts, and stories of the Douglas family, who called Brucemore home from 1906-1937. Interact with the history of the site through interpretive experiences and hands-on activities. Knowledgeable staff will be available to answer your questions. After your mansion tour, we hope you will head outside and explore the 26-acre landscape at no additional cost. We recommend planning to spend 45 minutes in the mansion during your tour.
Please go to the mansion to check in for these tours. Tickets are available for advance sale or at the door, subject to availability. Tour entry times are limited and can sell out. Please note: This tour does not include access to the basement. The Tahitian Room and Grizzly Bar can be seen on a guided tour.
