Brucemore is partnering with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio to bring a pop of color to your garden with this unique decoration! Using a warm glass technique. participants will pick the perfect glass pieces to design a beautiful butterfly complete with vibrant wings and curly antennas.
This workshop is hosted in the Brucemore Carriage House. All instructions, materials, and protective eyewear are provided. Following the workshop, the instructor will take the projects to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio to be fired in their kilns. A metal stake will be added to the back of the projects to create a handmade piece of art that’s ready to display in gardens, on patios, or in an indoor planter!

What to know before you go:
Workshop capacity is limited, and workshops often sell out. Advanced registration is required.
This workshop is recommended for participants above the age of 12. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
All participants must wear closed-toed shoes and clothing that covers their legs for safety.
