Brucemore is partnering with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio to bring you a brand-new clay project! In this workshop, participants will craft a perfectly petite vanity tray. The workshop instructor will provide instructions to guide participants through the process of molding their vanity tray together. Once the tray is built, participants will choose Art Deco inspired stamps to press a vintage pattern into their projects. When complete, participants will have a one-of-a-kind vanity tray for all their bedside trinkets!
This workshop is hosted in the Brucemore Carriage House. All instructions, materials, and tolls are provided. Following the workshop, the instructor will take the projects to the Iowa Ceramics center and Glass Studio to be kiln-fired and finished with a professional glaze.
Please enter through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403.
Once onsite, please follow signs towards the Carriage House where there is onsite parking available.
