This self-guided tour of the mansion is sure to fill you with holiday cheer. Be the first to explore our award winning holiday experience, complete with over a dozen Christmas trees, sparkling décor, and a glimpse into the holidays of the past at Brucemore.

Tour Dates:
- November 21 – 3:00 PM- 7:00 PM | Entry times are every 30 minutes. | Last entry time at 6:00 PM
- November 22 – 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Entry times are every 30 minutes. | Last entry time at 1:00 PM
- November 23 – 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM | Entry times are every 30 minutes. | Last entry time at 4:30 PM
What to know before you go:
- All Brucemore holiday tours are self-guided. Members of our visitor services team will be available to answer guest questions.
- Interpretive signage, audio experiences, and holiday-themed collection displays will be available throughout the mansion to help guests discover more about Brucemore’s history.
- Access to the basement Tahitian Room and Grizzly Bar will be led by a visitor services staff member approximately every half hour.
- Supporters may purchase additional tickets for these dates at the donor rate of $10 for adults and free for children 18 and under, subject to availability.
- Capacity is limited and entry times can sell out.
What to do when you arrive:
- Enter the site through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE., Cedar Rapids, IA 52403. Please do not use the exit gate on First Avenue to enter the site.
- Once onsite, follow signs towards the mansion.
- There is on-site parking a short walk from the mansion entrance.
- Please check-in with mansion staff at your scheduled entry time, which can be found in your confirmation email or on your ticket.
- If you need to purchase additional tickets, you can do that at the mansion when you arrive, subject to availability.
- The mansion entrance is on the south side of the building, through the front door under the porte cochere next to the circle drive.

Tips for your visit:
- Consider leaving bags or other large personal items in your vehicle. A coat rack is available, but it is not monitored.
- Tours of the mansion consist of substantial walking and standing. The historic mansion is not currently wheelchair accessible. There are several stairs to access the first floor, and several flights of stairs to see the other floors – the mansion does not have an elevator. There is limited seating available in the mansion. Please make the best decision for the accessibility of your party with this knowledge.
- Early admittance may not be available and there is not an indoor lobby to wait for your tour start time.
- If you miss your tour start time, you may be subject to a shortened tour or asked to join another tour time that day, subject to availability.
- Visitors are encouraged to put on their hats and gloves and explore Brucemore’s grounds during their visit! The estate includes a formal garden, a night garden, orchard, pet cemetery, and more that are especially beautiful after a snowfall.
- Food and drink are not allowed inside the mansion during tours. We encourage you to enjoy a meal at one of Cedar Rapids’ local restaurants before or after your visit.
- All ticket sales are non-refundable. Please read our ticket policy here.
- Photography is allowed inside the mansion for personal, non-professional use. Tripods, selfie-sticks, or other photography/videography equipment are not permitted. Please read our photo policy here.
