SUMMARY:Artisan Studio Showcase: Marcy Each
DESCRIPTION:The first 2024 Artisan Studio Showcase kicks off with singer-songwriter Marcy Each telling stories through her original songs. Her first album was recorded in Nashville and her most recent album\, which is being recorded right here on the Brucemore estate with co-producers Jim Coates and Brucemore Artisan-in-Residence Gerard Estella. Where previous projects have placed Marcy in the realms of folk and country (with a hint of gospel)\, this endeavor pushes toward a heavier\, rootsy\, and organic Americana feel. Existing fans of Marcy will be pleasantly surprised to see and hear Marcy in a different context than they might be accustomed to – complete with a full band.  And new fans of Marcy will get to experience the breadth of her writing and singing ability! \nBring your own chair (or blanket)\, picnic\, and beverage to enjoy great music under the stars on the Artisan Studio Lawn. \nEvent Date: July 16\, 7:00 PM \nLocation: Artisan Studio Lawn \nAdmission: \n\nAdult: $15\nStudent: $10\n\nWant to see more Artisan Studio projects? Check out the Artisan Studio Showcase series! \nAbout Marcy \nMarcy’s journey into music began at the age of 14 when she discovered her mother’s classical guitar in the attic. Since then\, she has dedicated herself to her craft\, gaining recognition as a gifted vocalist and songwriter. Her music career has taken her to notable stages\, including the Cabin Stage at MerleFest in North Carolina\, and to recording studios in Nashville. Her latest album\, The Ghosts of Fishermen\, is a nostalgic\, honest Americana collection that has resonated with fans old and new.
