SUMMARY:Live from the Artisan Studio: Jackson Green
DESCRIPTION:An evening at Brucemore is always special\, but this event promises to be magical! \nIn under an hour\, you’ll be both charmed and amazed by local magician Jackson Green. With some production polish provided by the Artisan Studio\, his craft will be showcased with two shows offered at 6:30 & 8:30 pm. \nJackson has been enthusiastic about magic for his entire life and spent most of his teen years learning and practicing everything he could. Now\, Jackson is a professional magician who frequently performs at area coffee shops\, birthday parties\, corporate events\, weddings\, sporting events\, and morning TV programs. While he still works during the day as a software developer\, he has hopes that he can make magic a full-time career. Jackson is one of four artists selected in 2023 to complete a project through support from Brucemore’s Artisan Studio. \nPerformances: 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM \nLocation: Carriage House Courtyard \nAdmission:  \n\n$20 Adult\n$10 Student (Ages 10 & up suggested.)\nBrucemore donors receive a discount by “signing in” using the link in the upper right corner of the purchase tickets page.\n\n\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR VISIT \n\nSeating: Space is on a first-come basis. Patrons are responsible for bringing their own chair. This event will take place on a concrete surface.\nFood and Beverages: You are welcome to bring your own picnics and beverages (beer and wine allowed) to enjoy in the performance venue. Concessions will not be available for sale at this event.\nParking: The only gate that will open to vehicles for on-site parking is at 2160 Linden Drive SE. The gate will open 30 minutes before each performance. Signage will direct you to open spaces near the Visitor Center. Accessible parking will be available.\nPets: Pets are not allowed\, with the exception of service animals.\nWeather: The event occurs fully outdoors and may be held in light rain. If the event needs to be delayed or rescheduled due to weather\, a decision will be made by 5:00 p.m. and ticket holders will be notified by phone. DESCRIPTION:Due to weather\, this performance has been rescheduled for September 26 at 7:00 PM. \nTake a peek behind the curtain and witness the artistic journey at Brucemore’s Live from the Artisan Studio series\, featuring Jake Stack. Jake has spent the summer on-site at Brucemore writing\, refining and recording his latest album\, Prove It. Come out to enjoy his new music and hear first-hand about his experience and process within the Artisan Studio. \nJake Stack is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Cedar Rapids. When not playing guitar for Alisabeth Von Presley\, Jake attempts to follow in the tradition of great songwriters like Bob Dylan\, Bruce Springsteen\, John Prine\, Leonard Cohen\, Jason Isbell\, and Frank Turner.
