DESCRIPTION:The Glass Ugly Sweater Ornament workshop is sold out!  \n\nEmbrace that festive feeling! \nBrucemore is partnering with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio to bring a new festive workshop to the Art at Brucemore series! In this workshop\, participants will design festive sweater ornaments made of glass. Using a warm glass technique\, choose whether you will craft an ugly holiday sweater\, a high fashion statement sweater\, or something in between. All materials and instructions are provided\, and no experience is necessary to participate! \nParticipants may purchase one ornament or two ornaments to complete during the workshop time. Every guest must purchase at least one ornament to participate in the workshop. Sharing projects is not allowed and will land you on the naughty list! \nParticipants will craft and set their ornaments at Brucemore. All projects will go back to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass studio for firing in their kilns. Brucemore will notify participants when their creations are ready for pick-up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio approximately three weeks following the class date\, just in time to hang your masterpiece on your tree! \nPlease register by November 30 at 5:00 PM to reserve your spot.  \n\nAdmission Information \nDate: Sunday\, December 3\, 2023\nTime: Workshops begin at 10:30 AM (sold out!) and 12:30 PM (sold out!).\nAdmission: $40/Single Ornament | $55/Two Ornaments\n(Every guest must purchase at least one ornament to participate in the workshop.)\n \nThis event is held in partnership with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio. \n \n\nIMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION \n\nArrival and Parking: We ask that you arrive via our main entrance\, 2160 Linden Dr. SE.\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52403. Follow signs towards the Carriage House\, where there is on-site parking.\nCheck-in: Please check-in with Brucemore staff at the Carriage House\nBags: We will have a coat rack where you are able to leave items. It will not be monitored during the workshop. You may wish to consider leaving bags or other items in your vehicle.\nLocation: This workshop is held at the Brucemore Carriage House.\nCapacity: This workshop is limited to 16 participants per workshop time. Additional class times may be offered as ticket sales progress.\nTicket Policies: All ticket sales are non-refundable. Please read our ticket policy here.
