DESCRIPTION:The Ceramic Holiday Tree workshop is sold out! \n\nEmbrace the sparkle of the season! \nThe holiday season is upon us\, and Brucemore is partnering with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio to bring a new holiday workshop to Brucemore. \nRoll up your sleeves and create a magical holiday tree! Form your tree using hand-building techniques and then use scissors and other tools to create the boughs and branches. Finally\, paint on colored glaze and add decorations to your tree to create depth to your project. All materials and instructions are provided\, and no experience is necessary to participate! \nParticipants will craft and glaze their trees at Brucemore. All projects will go back to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass studio for firing in their kilns. Brucemore will notify participants when their creations are ready for pick-up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio approximately three weeks following the class date\, just in time to add presents under the tree! \nPlease register by November 16 at 5:00 PM to reserve your spot.  \n\nAdmission Information \nDate: Sunday\, November 19\, 2023\nTime: Workshops begin at 12:30 PM (sold out!) and 2:30 PM (sold out!)\nAdmission: $35 per person (includes all materials and instructions). \nThis event is held in partnership with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio. \n \n\nIMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION \n\nArrival and Parking: We ask that you arrive via our main entrance\, 2160 Linden Dr. SE.\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52403. Follow signs towards the Carriage House\, where there is on-site parking.\nCheck-in: Please check-in with Brucemore staff at the Carriage House\nBags: We will have a coat rack where you are able to leave items. It will not be monitored during the workshop. You may wish to consider leaving bags or other items in your vehicle.\nLocation: This workshop is held at the Brucemore Carriage House.\nCapacity: This workshop is limited to 16 participants per workshop time. Additional class times may be offered as ticket sales progress.\nTicket Policies: All ticket sales are non-refundable. Please read our ticket policy here. Online and phone orders are subject to a $4 processing fee.\nExplore: Visitors are encourage to explore Brucemore during the visit.
