DESCRIPTION:Embrace your spooky spirit! \nBrucemore is partnering with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for another popular workshop\, just in time for Halloween! In this workshop\, participants will build their own unique ghost from clay\, using various hand-building techniques. Once your ghost is the perfect size and shape\, participants can add “boo-tiful” decorations to their creations with colored glazes and various textures. \nThis workshop is hosted in the Brucemore Carriage House. All instructions and materials are provided during the workshop. Following the workshop\, the instructor will take the projects to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for firing in their kiln. Brucemore will notify participants when their projects are ready for pick up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio\, approximately three weeks following the class date. \nPlease register by October 9 at 5:00 pm to reserve your spot. \nEvent Date: Sunday\, October 13 \nEvent Time: \n\n10:30 AM to 12:00 PM\n12:30 PM to 2:00 PM – SOLD OUT\n2:30 PM to 4:00 PM – SOLD OUT\n\nTickets: $35 per person \nWhat to do when you arrive \n\nPlease enter through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE.\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52405\nOnce onsite\, please follow signs towards the Carriage House\, where there is on-site parking.\nPlease check-in with Brucemore staff at the Carriage House.\n\nTips for your visit \n\nPlease consider leaving bags or other larger personal items in your vehicle.
