DESCRIPTION:Tickets go on sale on October 15! Brucemore Supporters receive access to a special pre-sale. Donate today to receive pre-sale access and an invitation to our Donor Holiday Preview. \nEmbrace your holiday cheer!\nBrucemore is partnering with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio to bring an updated version of a popular workshop! \nParticipants will design a beautiful\, tall glass holiday tree decoration using warm glass techniques. The tree will come with a wooden display stand\, so you can add this unique piece to your holiday decorations. \nThis workshop is hosted in the Brucemore Carriage House. All instructions and materials are provided during the workshop. Following the workshop\, the instructor will take the projects to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for firing in their kilns. Your creation will be ready for pick-up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio approximately three weeks following the class date\, just in time to decorate for the holidays! \nAdmission: $55.00 per project \nPlease register by December 2 at 5:00 PM to reserve your spot. \nWorkshop Details\nWe want you to have a fun and festive experience! To help make the most of your visit\, we’ve prepared a few tips. If you have any questions that haven’t been answered here\, our team is happy to help. Please email us or call 319-362-7375 to reach a Brucemore staff member. \nWhat to know before you go: \n\nWorkshop capacity is limited\, and workshops often sell out. Advanced registration is required.\nThis workshop is recommended for participants above the age of 12. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.\nAll participants should plan to wear closed-toes shoes and clothing that covers your legs for safety.\nThis workshop lasts approximately ninety minutes.\nProjects will be ready for pick-up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio approximately three weeks following the workshop date.\n\nWhat to do when you arrive: \n\nPlease enter through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52403.\nOnce onsite\, please follow signs towards the Carriage House where there is onsite parking available.\nPlease check-in for the workshop with Brucemore staff at the Carriage House.\n\nTips for your visit: \n\nPlease consider leaving bags or other larger personal items in your vehicle. A coat rack is available\, but it’s not monitored during the workshop.\nAll ticket sales are final. Please read our ticket policy here.\nVisitors are encouraged to put on their hats and gloves to explore Brucemore’s grounds during their visit!
