Free and open to the public seven days a week for a majority of the year\, visiting the grounds offers the perfect way to immerse yourself in a historic country estate in the heart of Cedar Rapids. Stroll through the gardens\, picnic on the lawn\, birdwatch on a woodland path near the pond\, examine the architecture of the mansion and servants’ village\, or take in the history of the site with interpretative panels scattered across the grounds. Don’t forget to take a selfie (or two) and tag us on social media! \n\n\n\nHours \n\n\n\nMonday – Friday\, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm\nSaturday\, 10:30 am – 4:00 pm\nSunday\, 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm\n\n\n\n\n*Hours are subject to change seasonally or for special events\, holidays\, and other occasions.  \n\n\n\nGuidelines for your visit\n\n\nWe love when furry friends come to visit Brucemore! Please help us keep the site clean and welcoming to everyone by keeping your animal on lead at all times and taking any waste with you.\nWe do not have any garbage cans on the grounds as part of our approach to remove distractions. The historic mansion is not currently wheelchair accessible. There are several stairs to access the first floor\, and several flights of stairs to see the other floors. DESCRIPTION:Dive into the big blue world with this family-friendly musical adventure! \nFinding Nemo follows Marlin\, an anxious and over-protective clownfish who lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his son Nemo. When Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney\, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic odyssey across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory\, laid-back sea turtle Crush\, and the supportive Tank Gang\, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. \nBook by Lindsay Anderson. Please send an email to mail@brucemore.org or call 319-362-7375 to reach a Brucemore staff member. \nWhat to expect from this tour \n\nGuided mansion tours do not include access to buildings other than the mansion.\nTours of the mansion consist of substantial walking and standing. The historic mansion is not currently wheelchair accessible. There are several stairs to access the first floor\, and several flights of stairs to see the other floors. The mansion does not have an elevator.  Please make the best decision for the accessibility of your party with this knowledge.\nThis tour covers the three main floors of the mansion and the Tahitian Room and Grizzly Bar in the basement.\nThis tour is approximately 60 minutes long.\n\nWhat to do when you arrive \n\nEnter through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE.\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52403. Please do not use the exit gate on First Avenue to enter the site.\nOnce onsite\, follow signs towards the mansion.\nThere is on-site parking a short walk from the mansion entrance.\nIf you purchased tickets in advance\, please check in with staff at the mansion at the time on your ticket. DESCRIPTION:The 26-acre landscape highlights a variety of experiences to enjoy throughout the year! Free and open to the public seven days a week for a majority of the year\, visiting the grounds offers the perfect way to immerse yourself in a historic country estate in the heart of Cedar Rapids. Stroll through the gardens\, picnic on the lawn\, birdwatch on a woodland path near the pond\, examine the architecture of the mansion and servants’ village\, or take in the history of the site with interpretative panels scattered across the grounds. Don’t forget to take a selfie (or two) and tag us on social media! \n\n\n\nHours \n\n\n\nMonday – Friday\, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm\nSaturday\, 10:30 am – 4:00 pm\nSunday\, 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm\n\n\n\n\n*Hours are subject to change seasonally or for special events\, holidays\, and other occasions.  \n\n\n\nGuidelines for your visit\n\n\nWe love when furry friends come to visit Brucemore! Please help us keep the site clean and welcoming to everyone by keeping your animal on lead at all times and taking any waste with you.\nWe do not have any garbage cans on the grounds as part of our approach to remove distractions. Please carry out anything you bring onto the site.\nParking for vehicles is available on pavement near the Carriage House or Mansion.\nPublic restrooms are available in a building next to the Carriage House during hours with vehicle access seasonally.

DESCRIPTION:Dive into the big blue world with this family-friendly musical adventure! \nFinding Nemo follows Marlin\, an anxious and over-protective clownfish who lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his son Nemo. When Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney\, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic odyssey across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory\, laid-back sea turtle Crush\, and the supportive Tank Gang\, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. \nBook by Lindsay Anderson. (Parking is not available on Dows Lane\, the dead-end road adjacent to Brucemore.) \nSeating: Lawn space is on a first-come basis. Patrons responsible for bringing their own chairs or blankets.  \nShow Run Time: Approximately 60 minutes. There will be a 15-minute intermission.  \nFood and Beverage/What to Bring: You are welcome to bring your own light snacks and beverages to enjoy in the performance venue. Concessions will also be for sale. \nPets: Pets are not allowed\, excluding service animals. \nWeather: The event occurs fully outdoors and may be held in light rain. If the event needs to be delayed or rescheduled due to weather\, a decision will be made by 4:15 p.m. and ticket holders will be notified by phone. There will be no refunds\, only exchanges to another date if possible.
