Along the way\, you’ll discover how their stories intersect with topics of labor\, class\, and philanthropy. \nThis 90-minute staff-led tour is offered exclusively during Women’s History Month. Returning visitors will enjoy diving deeper into Brucemore’s stories while first-time guests can experience an introduction to the site with a focus on the women who influenced it. \nTour Dates: \n\nSaturday\, March 7\, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM\nThursday\, March 12\, 5:30 – 7:00 PM\nThursday\, March 19\, 5:30 – 7:00 PM\nThursday\, March 26\, 5:30 – 7:00 PM\nSaturday\, March 28\, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM\n\nAdmission: \n\n$18.00 Adult\n$10.00 Student\nBrucemore supporters receive a $5 discount per ticket.\nA $4.00 processing fee will be applied to all online and phone orders.\n\nTour Details\nWe can’t wait to welcome you to Brucemore! Free and open to the public seven days a week for a majority of the year\, visiting the grounds offers the perfect way to immerse yourself in a historic country estate in the heart of Cedar Rapids. Stroll through the gardens\, picnic on the lawn\, birdwatch on a woodland path near the pond\, examine the architecture of the mansion and servants’ village\, or take in the history of the site with interpretative panels scattered across the grounds. Don’t forget to take a selfie (or two) and tag us on social media! \n\n\n\nHours \n\n\n\nMonday – Friday\, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm\n\n\n\n\n*Hours are subject to change seasonally or for special events\, holidays\, and other occasions.  \n\n\n\nGuidelines for your visit\n\n\nWe love when furry friends come to visit Brucemore! Please help us keep the site clean and welcoming to everyone by keeping your animal on lead at all times and taking any waste with you.\nWe do not have any garbage cans on the grounds as part of our approach to remove distractions. Please carry out anything you bring onto the site.\nParking for vehicles is available on pavement near the Carriage House or Mansion.\nPublic restrooms are available in a building next to the Carriage House during hours with vehicle access seasonally.

Led by experts on all things Brucemore\, the Nooks and Crannies Tour includes in-depth discussions of the estate’s architecture and landscape\, as well as special access to rarely seen rooms in the mansion. Discover the oddities of the mansion\, including the Nooks and Crannies exclusive experience of a “rainstorm” in our infamous Tahitian Room! This is your chance to explore all rooms in the mansion and get the answer to one of our most frequently asked questions: “what is behind that door?” \nTickets are only available for advance purchase on Brucemore’s website or over the phone. In case of more inclement weather\, we will adjust most of the tour to occur indoors\, but there will still be outdoor travel to each location.
