Don’t forget to take a selfie (or two) and tag us on social media! \n\n\n\nHours:  \n\n\nMonday – Friday\, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm\nSaturday\, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm\nSunday\, 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm\n\n\n\n*Hours are subject to change seasonally or for special events\, holidays\, and other occasions.  \n\n\n\nGuidelines for your visit\n\n\nWe love when furry friends come to visit Brucemore! Please help us keep the site clean and welcoming to everyone by keeping your animal on lead at all times and taking any waste with you.\nWe do not have any garbage cans on the grounds as part of our approach to remove distractions. DESCRIPTION:The 26-acre landscape highlights a variety of experiences to enjoy throughout the year! Free and open to the public seven days a week for a majority of the year\, visiting the grounds offers the perfect way to immerse yourself in a historic country estate in the heart of Cedar Rapids. Stroll through the gardens\, picnic on the lawn\, birdwatch on a woodland path near the pond\, examine the architecture of the mansion and servants’ village\, or take in the history of the site with interpretative panels scattered across the grounds. Don’t forget to take a selfie (or two) and tag us on social media! \n\n\n\nHours \n\n\n\nMonday – Friday\, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm\nSaturday\, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm\nSunday\, 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm\n\n\n\n\n*Hours are subject to change seasonally or for special events\, holidays\, and other occasions.  \n\n\n\nGuidelines for your visit\n\n\nWe love when furry friends come to visit Brucemore! Please help us keep the site clean and welcoming to everyone by keeping your animal on lead at all times and taking any waste with you.\nWe do not have any garbage cans on the grounds as part of our approach to remove distractions. Please carry out anything you bring onto the site.\nParking for vehicles is available on pavement near the Carriage House or Mansion.\nPublic restrooms are available in a building next to the Carriage House during hours with vehicle access seasonally.

DESCRIPTION:Discover over a century of history at Brucemore during this 45-minute guided tour of the mansion. Follow an expert to hear stories about the history and collections of Brucemore and the families who called the mansion home. View the first\, second\, and third floors of the mansion\, as well as the Tahitian Room and Grizzly Bar. After your mansion tour\, we hope you will head outside and explore the 26-acre landscape at no additional cost. \nPlease go to the mansion to check in for these tours. Tickets are available for advance sale or at the door\, subject to availability. Tour entry times are limited and can sell out. Tours last approximately 45 minutes. \nAdmission \n\n \n\n$12.00 Adults\n$7.00 Students (4+)\nFree (3 and under)\nBrucemore donors receive a $5 discount per ticket.\nA $4.00 processing fee will be applied to all online and phone orders.\n\n \n\nTour Dates: \n\nMay 1 to November 10\n\nWednesday – Saturday\, 10:00 AM\, 11:00 AM\, 12:00 PM\, 1:00 PM\, 2:00 PM\, and 3:00 PM\nSunday\, 1:00 PM\, 2:00 PM\, and 3:00 PM\n\n\n\n\nWhat to do when you arrive \n\nPlease enter through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE.\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52403.\nOnce onsite\, follow signs towards the mansion. There is on-site parking a short walk from the mansion entrance.\nPlease check in with staff at the mansion at the time on your ticket or purchase a ticket when you arrive. Enter the mansion through the front door on the south side of the building.\n\nTips for your visit \n\nPlease consider leaving bags or other large personal items in your vehicle. A coat rack is available\, but it is not monitored.\nTours of the mansion consist of substantial walking and standing. The historic mansion is not currently wheelchair accessible. There are several stairs to access the first floor\, and several flights of stairs to see the other floors. Please make the best decision for the accessibility of your party with this knowledge.\nEarly admittance may not be available during peak tour times. If you arrive onsite more than 10 minutes before a scheduled tour\, please enjoy exploring the grounds before entering the mansion.\nIf you miss your tour start time\, you may be subject to a shortened tour or asked to join another tour time that day\, subject to availability.\nAll ticket sales are non-refundable.
