This self-guided tour of the mansion is sure to fill you with holiday cheer. Be the first to explore our award winning holiday experience\, complete with over a dozen Christmas trees\, sparkling décor\, and a glimpse into the holidays of the past at Brucemore. \nAs our gift to you\, your supporter status includes two complimentary tickets to visit during one of the dates listed below. To redeem your tickets and schedule your time to visit\, please call (319) 362-7375 or email mail@brucemore.org. \nTour Dates: \n\nNovember 21 – 3:00 PM- 7:00 PM | Entry times are every 30 minutes. | Last entry time at 6:00 PM\nNovember 22 – 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Entry times are every 30 minutes. | Last entry time at 1:00 PM\nNovember 23 – 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM | Entry times are every 30 minutes. | Last entry time at 4:30 PM\n\nWhat to know before you go: \n\nAll Brucemore holiday tours are self-guided. Members of our visitor services team will be available to answer guest questions.\nInterpretive signage\, audio experiences\, and holiday-themed collection displays will be available throughout the mansion to help guests discover more about Brucemore’s history.\nAccess to the basement Tahitian Room and Grizzly Bar will be led by a visitor services staff member approximately every half hour.\nSupporters may purchase additional tickets for these dates at the donor rate of $10 for adults and free for children 18 and under\, subject to availability.\nCapacity is limited and entry times can sell out.\n\nWhat to do when you arrive: \n\nEnter the site through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE.\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52403. Please do not use the exit gate on First Avenue to enter the site.\nOnce onsite\, follow signs towards the mansion.\nThere is on-site parking a short walk from the mansion entrance.\nPlease check-in with mansion staff at your scheduled entry time\, which can be found in your confirmation email or on your ticket.\nIf you need to purchase additional tickets\, you can do that at the mansion when you arrive\, subject to availability.\nThe mansion entrance is on the south side of the building\, through the front door under the porte cochere next to the circle drive.\nFor site navigation tips\, please watch this video. A labeled Google Map of the site is available here.\n\nTips for your visit: \n\nConsider leaving bags or other large personal items in your vehicle. A coat rack is available\, but it is not monitored.\nTours of the mansion consist of substantial walking and standing. The historic mansion is not currently wheelchair accessible. There are several stairs to access the first floor\, and several flights of stairs to see the other floors – the mansion does not have an elevator. There is limited seating available in the mansion. Please make the best decision for the accessibility of your party with this knowledge.\nEarly admittance may not be available and there is not an indoor lobby to wait for your tour start time.\nIf you miss your tour start time\, you may be subject to a shortened tour or asked to join another tour time that day\, subject to availability.\nVisitors are encouraged to put on their hats and gloves and explore Brucemore’s grounds during their visit! The estate includes a formal garden\, a night garden\, orchard\, pet cemetery\, and more that are especially beautiful after a snowfall.\nFood and drink are not allowed inside the mansion during tours. We encourage you to enjoy a meal at one of Cedar Rapids’ local restaurants before or after your visit.\nAll ticket sales are non-refundable. Please read our ticket policy here.\nPhotography is allowed inside the mansion for personal\, non-professional use. Tripods\, selfie-sticks\, or other photography/videography equipment are not permitted. Please read our photo policy here.\nHave fun! So\, kids\, make sure to bring your wish list to share with Santa\, and adults\, have that camera ready for the perfect snapshot! Enjoy other holiday activities inside the mansion during this event\, including a craft\, story time in the Nursery\, and a take-home snack. \n\n\n\n\n\nAdmission: \n\n\n\n$5 Adult – All adults accompanying children to this event must have a ticket for entry.\n\n\n\n$10 Youth (12 and under) – Infants through age 12 qualify for child pricing and must have a ticket for entry.\n\n\n\nBrucemore Supporters receive a $3 discount per ticket.\n\n\n\nA $4.00 processing fee will be applied to all online and phone orders.\n\nTickets are sold for staggered entry times at half-hour intervals. \n\nAdmission for this event is limited. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets may be purchased online\, over the phone\, or at the mansion during open hours.  \n\n\n\n\nEvent dates: \n\n\n\nSunday\, November 30\n\n\n\nTuesday\, December 2\n\n\n\nEvent time: \n\n\n\n5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Entry times are every 30 minutes. We have informative signs and audio features throughout the mansion to enhance your experience. If you have any questions\, we encourage you to ask a member of our team. We love to share stories from Brucemore’s history!\nWe’re excited to offer special guided access to the basement Tahitian Room and Grizzly Bar. A staff member will take a group to these rooms approximately every 30 minutes.\nSelf-guided tours allow you to explore at your own pace. We recommend planning for at least 45 minutes to enjoy the beautiful historic interior design and holiday decorations.\nEarly admittance may not be available during peak tour times and we do not have a lobby to allow you to wait indoors. The mansion is the only building that will be open to the public during these tours.\nTours of the mansion consist of substantial walking and standing. The historic mansion is not wheelchair accessible. There are several stairs to access the first floor\, and several flights of stairs to see the other floors. Please make the best decision for the accessibility of your party with this knowledge or call with specific questions. If you need a seat during your visit\, a member of our team can show you chairs that are available to use.\n\nNavigating the site: \n\nThe entrance to the estate is on Linden Drive. Some GPS systems may try to take you to another gate. This video and this labeled Google Map can help you plan your route to the entrance before you arrive.\nWhen you arrive on to the site\, follow signs to the mansion. Parking is available a short walk from the entrance. If parking near the mansion is full\, overflow parking is available near the Carriage House\, which is a short walk from the mansion.\nTour check-in is inside the mansion. Please enter through the front door\, located next to the circle drive.\n\nPlanning for your experience: \n\nHave fun!
