Brucemore Supporters receive access to a special pre-sale. Donate today to receive pre-sale access and an invitation to our Donor Holiday Preview. \nEmbrace the sparkle of the season!\nBrucemore is partnering with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for another popular workshop\, just in time to kick off the holiday season! In this workshop\, participants will decorate an adorable mitten ornament using a warm glass technique. If you’re feeling inspired\, make it a pair to decorate your tree. \nThis workshop is hosted in the Brucemore Carriage House. All instructions and materials are provided during the workshop. Following the workshop\, the instructor will take the projects to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for firing in their kilns. Your beautiful bauble will be ready for pick up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio approximately three weeks following the class date.  \nPlease register by November 11 at 5:00 PM to reserve your spot! \nNote: All participants must purchase their own admission. The two ornament project option is for one participant to complete two projects. Sharing projects is not allowed and will land you on the naughty list! \nWorkshop Details\nWe want you to have a fun and festive experience! To help make the most of your visit\, we’ve prepared a few tips. If you have any questions that haven’t been answered here\, our team is happy to help. Please email us or call 319-362-7375 to reach a Brucemore staff member. \nWhat to know before you go: \n\nWorkshop capacity is limited\, and workshops often sell out. Advanced registration is required. \nThis workshop is recommended for participants above the age of 12. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop. \nAll participants should plan to wear closed-toes shoes and clothing that covers your legs for safety.\nThis workshop lasts approximately ninety minutes.\nProjects will be ready for pick-up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio approximately three weeks following the workshop date. \n\nWhat to do when you arrive: \n\nPlease enter through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52403. \nOnce onsite\, please follow signs towards the Carriage House where there is onsite parking available.\nPlease check-in for the workshop with Brucemore staff at the Carriage House. \n\nTips for your visit: \n\nPlease consider leaving bags or other larger personal items in your vehicle. Don’t forget to take a selfie (or two) and tag us on social media! \n\n\n\nHours \n\n\n\nMonday – Friday\, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm\nSaturday\, 10:30 am – 4:00 pm\nSunday\, 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm\n\n\n\n\n*Hours are subject to change seasonally or for special events\, holidays\, and other occasions.  \n\n\n\nGuidelines for your visit\n\n\nWe love when furry friends come to visit Brucemore!
