DESCRIPTION:Embrace your creativity! \nBrucemore is partnering with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio to bring a new glass class to Brucemore this winter. Let your creativity run free and build a glass snowpal nightlight cover to keep your home well-lit on dark winter nights. All instructions and materials are provided during the class to make one 3″x3″ glass snowpal using warm glass techniques. Projects include a nightlight plug-in. \nThis workshop is hosted at Brucemore. All projects are taken back to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for firing in their kiln. Brucemore will notify participants when their creations are ready for pick-up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio approximately three weeks following the class date. \n\nTicket Information \nDate: Saturday\, February 11\, 2023\nTime: Class begins at 10:30 a.m. (sold out!) and 12:30 p.m.\nAdmission: $45 per person (includes all materials and instruction) \nThis event is held in partnership with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio

From the woman who built the mansion to the woman who gifted it to the National Trust for Historic Preservation\, the “In Her Steps” tour offers unique insight into the women of Brucemore. The tour will highlight the history of the estate while also discussing themes of labor\, class\, and philanthropy.  Space is limited. The tour includes multiple flights of stairs. \nTickets for this special-themed tour are available for advance sale on our website. Space is limited and this tour frequently sells out. \nDates:  \n\nThursday\, March 9\, 16\, and 23 at 5:30 PM\n\nAdmission: \n\n$18.00 Adult\n$10.00 Student (4+)\nBrucemore members receive a $5 discount per ticket.
