DESCRIPTION:Brucemore and SPT Theatre are excited to bring A Modern Salon back to the Great Hall of the mansion! Join us for an evening of music and stories with SPT founders and a special guest. Emulating the Parisian salons at the turn of the 20th century\, guests can experience an evening of wine tasting\, hors d’oeuvres\, and desserts as if they were friends of the Douglas family who called the estate home. \nThis year’s event will feature SPT members Jane Pini\, Janelle Lauer\, and Gerard Estella with guests Adam Witte and Lincoln Ginsberg. \nDates \nJanuary 10*\, 11*\, 16\, 17*\, 18*\, 24*\, & 25*\nDoors open at 7:00 PM\, performance begins at 7:30 PM\n*sold out \nAdmission \n\n$50 per adult\nBrucemore supporters receive a $5 discount per ticket.\nA $4.00 processing fee will be applied to all online and phone orders.\n\nWhat to know before you go \n\nThis is a 21+ event.\nCocktail or creative evening attire is encouraged.\nAdmission includes appetizers\, desserts\, wine-tasting\, sparking wine\, and non-alcoholic beverage options. If you have any questions about the menu\, please contact us at 319-362-7375 or by email.\nWe encourage you to enter the property via our gate at 2160 Linden Drive SE. Please feel free to drop guests off by the door under the porte cochere in the circle driveway before proceeding to the paved parking spaces only a short walk from the mansion.\nDoors will open at 7:00 PM. Please do not arrive early as there will not be room to wait inside.\nIf the event cannot be held due to weather\, a decision will be made by 5:00 PM and posted on Brucemore’s website and social media. Ticket holders will be notified by phone. Tickets are non-refundable\, however\, the ticket value may be credited as a tax-deductible contribution to Brucemore within seven days.
