DESCRIPTION:Embrace the sparkle of the season \nBrucemore is partnering with the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for another popular workshop\, just in time to kick off the holiday season! In this workshop\, you will design a beautiful wreath ornament made of glass. All materials and instructions are provided\, and no experience is necessary to participate. \nParticipants will craft and set their ornaments at Brucemore. All projects will go back to the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio for firing in their kilns. Your creation will be ready for pick-up from the Iowa Ceramics Center and Glass Studio approximately three weeks following the workshop date\, just in time to hang your masterpiece on your tree! \nTicket sales close on November 13 at 5:00 PM\, but this workshop often sells out in advance. \nWorkshop Date\nNovember 17\, 12:30 PM – Purchase tickets  \nNovember 17\, 2:30 PM – Purchase tickets  \nAdmission\n$40 for one ornament; $55 for two ornaments\nNote: All participants must purchase their own admission. The two ornament option is for one participant to create two projects. \n\nWhat to know before you go \n\nCapacity is limited and workshops often sell out. Advance registration is required.\nRecommended for children ages 8 up\, and comfortable working with glass pieces. All children must be accompanied by an adult.\nWorkshops last approximately 60 minutes.\nIf you have any questions about the event or purchasing tickets\, please contact us at 319-362-7375 or by email.\n\nWhat to do when you arrive \n\nPlease enter through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE.\, Cedar Rapids\, IA 52405\nOnce onsite\, please follow signs towards the Carriage House\, where there is on-site parking.\nThe Carriage House entrance is on the northwest side of the building.\nPlease check-in with Brucemore staff at the Carriage House.\n\nTips for your visit \n\nPlease consider leaving bags or other larger personal items in your vehicle. A coat rack is available\, but it is not monitored during the workshop.\nAll ticket sales are final.
