Brucemore is partnering with the Eastern Iowa Arts Academy to bring you this brand-new Art at Brucemore project!

In this workshop, participants will design and carve two stamps. The first stamp will be your practice stamp; the instructor will provide participants with a small, simple design and show you how to use tools to carve the design into a rubber stamp. Once you’ve mastered the process, participants can design a monogram or choose a different pattern to carve their own personalized stamp. When the workshop is finished, you’ll head home with two unique stamps to decorate your cards, letters, scrapbooks, journals, and more!

Admission: $50.00/per project

A $4 processing fee will be added to all online and phone orders.

What to know before you go:

• Workshop capacity is limited, and workshops often sell out. Advanced registration is required.
• This workshop is recommended for participants above the age of 12. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
• All participants must purchase with own admission. This project is intended for one person to complete; sharing projects is not allowed.
• This workshop lasts approximately two hours.
• All instructions, materials, and tools are provided.

What to do when you arrive:

• Please enter through the gate at 2160 Linden Dr. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403.
• Once onsite, please follow signs towards the Carriage House, where there is onsite parking available.
• Check-in for the workshop with Brucemore staff at the Carriage House.

Tips for your visit:

• Consider leaving bags or other larger personal items in your vehicle. A coat rack is available, but it is not monitored during the workshop.
