Garden and Art Show

The gardens at Brucemore were the setting in 1928 for the second garden show held in Cedar Rapids.

Today, more than 60 artists and garden vendors from across the Midwest share their expertise annually by showcasing unique products, vivid presentations, and pertinent information, including ceramics, plantings, jewelry, seeds, bulbs, sculpture, trees, glass, textiles, and more.

Educational opportunities captivate attendees through one-on-one conversations, interactive demonstrations, and featured lectures. Families participate in hands-on entertainment, including such activities as firing raku, heirloom tomato tasting, cheese making, old fashion lawn games, watermelon spitting contests, and vegetable painting.
